Put seafood in your fridge on a plate or in a container, and cover with a damp cloth followed by plastic wrap or the lid and use within 2 days of purchase. 

If you’re only planning to cook it later, wrap it properly in plastic or foil and store in the freezer for up to 4 months.

Be sure to thoroughly clean cutting boards, surfaces and utensils after working with raw seafood; this is to prevent bacteria from raw seafood spreading to fresh foods.
